and Barry Kelly as The Captain. The action of the play takes place
aboard U.S. Navy Cargo Ship AK 601, operating in the back areas of
the Pacific. The time is set a few weeks between V-E Day until just
before V-J Day. It should be noted, per the Playbill, In the U.S.
Navy all officers below the rank of Commander are addressed as "Mister".
